The
peg head of the GOTHAM CITY has
several unique features.
The
surface of the front is convexly contoured and is in near continuation to
the radius of the fretboard.
The
truss-rod cover is carved to match this radius and is recessed flush with
the surrounding surface.
Another detail which was introduced first on the BLACK
WIDOW model
a few years ago is the recessed tuning machine nuts and washers.
This was done to avoid the unattractive 'lacquer chip' that can
often occur in front of each washer.
